Our on-bus cash fares are based upon 'fare stages' - your fare is calculated by the number of 'fare stages' that your journey takes you through.

Each bus route is split into a number of fare stages, with each fare stage usually containing about 3 bus stops. The fare goes up each time you reach a new stage. The easiest way to find out how much your fare will be is to ask the driver, simply state where you wish to go and your driver will tell you the exact fare.

Our buses have an exact fare policy and the driver cannot give change, so please make sure you have the correct money. The exact fare policy ensures that loading times are kept to a minimum.

TWM class over 16 year olds as Adults. All adults (except Network 16-18 Photocard holders travelling at peak times) must pay full adult fares. We class under 16's as Children. Child fares are half their adult equivalent price. Under 5's travel free (but must be accompanied).

Holders of a valid Network 16-18 Photocard can purchase child rate fares when travelling at peak times, please show your Network 16-18 Photocard as you board the bus. Network 16-18 Photocards cannot be used to purchase Child rate day tickets.

Passengers not holding a valid ticket will be liable to pay a penalty fare of £10 if paid immediately or within 7 days, or £20 if not paid within 7 days.
