Term Plus, the great value travel card for 5-15s, and 16-18s staying in full time education, who qualify for a Network 16-18 Photocard, is available by Direct Debit now!
Travel all day, every day for just £19 per month (with 2 months free) when you purchase your Term Plus by Direct Debit (that's under 68p per day!). For customers who prefer to buy their travel card each term the Term Plus card for next term goes on sale from 16 December 2009 and is valid right through until 17 April 2010.
If you need to use the Metro a Term Plus Metro Add-On is also available.

Term Plus for the Winter term is available for purchase online now, making it even easier to buy this great value travel card for the current term and associated holidays. Naturally it will also still be available from our Travel Card and Information Centres and from our network of Travel Card Agents from 16 December onwards.

How do I apply?
You can apply to join the Term Plus by Direct Debit scheme at any time of the year, you chose the month you wish your Term Plus to start. Please allow 2-4 weeks to process your application (all Term Plus cards are dated to start from the 1st of the month).
Your first payment will be taken on the 1st of the next available month after your application has been successfully processed. A further 9 payments will be taken on the 1st of each consecutive month and the good news is that the following 2 months are FREE. (Terms and conditions apply).
Apply online
You can now apply to join the Term Plus by Direct Debit scheme online where you see the 'Apply Online' button. First-time applicants will need to register before completing the application form and uploading your photograph.
Note:You must be able to upload a suitable digital photo in order to apply online.
Apply by Post
Simply download a Direct Debit application form, complete and sign the form then (remembering to enclose a colour, passport-sized photograph) post it to:

How do I get my card?
Once your application has been successully processed your first Term Plus Card will be posted to you along with a special plastic Photocard, there is no need to apply for a separate Network 16-18 Photocard. As long as your monthly direct debits are met you will then be sent a new Term Plus card each month.
After the first 12 month period there is no need to re-apply, as long as the holder is still eligible, we will continue to send out your monthly ticket until the holder reaches their 18th birthday.
What if I lose my card?
If your card is lost, stolen or destroyed we will issue one free replacement per academic term at our discretion.
Please note:
To be sure your application is processed in time for the beginning of the next month we need to receive your application by the 10th of the preceeding month.
Young people wishing to travel on National Express special services 885 or 886 will need to apply for both a Term Plus and a Supplementary Ticket. Please indicate which supplementary ticket is required by writing the service number on top of your application form.
