Within the West Midlands the Traveline facility is provided by a single call centre, operated under contract to West Midlands Transport Information Services Ltd. WMTIS is a joint company with shareholders representing all local bus operators, WMPTE and Shire County Authorities.

The call centre can provide details of all bus services registered within the West Midlands region, which includes the West Midlands County, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Warwickshire & Worcestershire. The call centre also holds certain information on public transport links to other areas of the country, details of local rail services and selected coach services.

You can use the same Traveline number, 0871 200 22 33, to obtain local public transport information wherever you are calling from in the UK.

Calls provided by BT will be charged at 10p per minute at all times. A call set-up fee of 6p per call applies to calls from residential lines. Mobile, business and other providers' charges may vary.
