The following temporary diversions are currently in operation within the West Midlands.
We are sorry for any inconvenience that these diversions may cause you. They are all beyond our control but we are working closely with the local councils and service providers to keep disruption to our services and passengers to an absolute minimum. Thank you for your patience.

Repairs to the bridge over the A45

Monday. 16th August 2010 - for 8 monthsBuses towards Coventry: from Birmingham Road buses will turn around at junction with Fillongley Road then run via Birmingham Road, Maxstoke Lane and slip road onto A45, continuing along A45 and the normal route.
Buses towards Birmingham: will use the normal route.
Handsworth Wood Road, between Friary Road and Church Lane

Friday, 20 August to Friday, 27 August 2010 - from 10:00 and 16:00 dailyUpdate: This diversion will now take place from Monday, 23 August to Thursday, 2 September 2010 - from 10:00 and 16:00 daily (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Monday 28-30 August)
Service 16 to City Centre: from Handsworth Wood Road buses will run via Friary Road, College Road, Church Lane and Hamstead Road then normal route.
Service 16 from City Centre: from Hamstead Road buses will run via Church Lane, College Road and Friary Road to Handsworth Wood Road and the normal route.
Service 654 towards Perry Barr: buses will continue along Hamstead Hill then run via Hamstead Hall Road, then normal line of route to Church Lane, continuing via Wellington Road and the normal route.
Service 654 from Perry Barr: buses will continue along Wellington Road to Church Lane then run via the normal route to Hamstead Hall Road and Hamstead Hill, continuing along Hamstead Hill torejoin the normal route

Buses from City Centre: from High Street Deritend buses will run via Heath Mill Lane, Great Barr Street, Garrison Circus and Garrison Lane to Cattell Road and normal route.
Coleshill Heath Road, between Bickenhill Road and Bickenhill Parkway
Road closed due to the reconstruction of Coleshill Heath Road

Monday, 26 July - Friday, 3 September 2010Buses towards Solihull: from Chelmsley Road buses will run via Coleshill Heath Road, Chester Road, Bickehhill Parkway and Bickenhill Lane, then normal route.

Monday, 26 July at 09:30 - Sunday 5th September 2010Buses towards Solihull: from Haslucks Green Road buses will run via Horrell Road, Stroud Road, Delrene Roadand Haslucks Green Road then normal route.
Buses from Solihull: from Haslucks Green Road buses will run via Hurdis Road, Middleton Road, Velsheda Road and Haslucks Green Road then normal route.
Bloxwich, High Street
Road closed (northbound) as a result of road works
Services Affected : 29, 301, 302
Sunday, 25 July 2010 - for 8 weeks (approx.)Passengers travelling from Walsall to Bloxwich can still get there directly using service 301E. This will depart every 12 minutes throughout the day from stand J - it is the only service which will provide a direct connection from Walsall to Bloxwich during the road works. The following diversions will be in place:
Service 29: Walsall - Blakenall - Bloxwich (Sunday to Saturday) - buses will operate in reverse of the normal circular route from Field Road. The new route will be: Ingram Road, then (in an anticlockwise direction) Field Road, Lichfield Road, Bloxwich High Street (southbound), The Pinfold, Field Road and back down Ingram Road on onto the normal route.
Service 301: Walsall - Bloxwich - Mossley (Sunday to Saturday) - On from journeys from Walsall buses will still serve ASDA on Bloxwich High Street then divert via Elmore Green Road. A temporary bus stop will be erected outside Jewson’s to allow passengers to reach the Markets. Passengers wishing to travel to Mossley Estate from Bloxwich should catch the bus from ASDA, Elmore Green Road or Jewson’s.
Service 301E: Walsall - Bloxwich (Monday to Friday, from 06.15 until 18.00 and Saturday, from 10.00 until 17.00, no service on Sunday) - buses will run every 12 minutes from stand J in Walsall bus station and travel direct to Bloxwich High Street. The service will be diverted along Field Road into North Bloxwich.
Service 302: Walsall - Bloxwich - Mossley - Lower Farm (Sunday to Saturday) - buses will run every 12 minutes from stand J in Walsall Bus Station. They will be diverted from Bloxwich Road along Field Road and into North Bloxwich, then onto Lower Farm. The return journey will divert at North Bloxwich to travel along Lichfield Road, Field Road and The Pinfold before returning to normal route.
Kent Road (northbound)
Resurfacing
Services Affected : 241
Monday 2 August and Monday 9 September 2010 (betwen 0930 and 1600 hours only)Due to the closure of Kent Road (northbound) between Spies Lane and Mucklow Hill, Service 241 will be diverted as follows:
Normal line of route to Manor Lane, then buses will operate via Spies Lane, Ridgeway Avenue and Halesowen Road to Quinton (Stag and Three Horseshoes), then right into Long Lane and normal line of route.
Service 241 towards Halesowen remains unaffected.
Stourbridge Road, Halesowen
Resurfacing
Services Affected : 9
Monday 5 July until Friday 3 September 2010Stourbridge Road will be closed to westbound traffic between Richmond Street and Earls Way Roundabout affecting Service 9 towards Birmingham as follows:
Normal line of route to Stourbridge Road Traffic Lights (junction with Alexandra Road). Buses will then turn left into Short Street and operate via Attwood Street, Whittingham Road, Old Hawne LAne and Grammar School Lane to Earls Way Roundabout, then via normal line of route.
Service 9 towards Stourbridge will remain unaffected.
