The following temporary diversions are currently in operation within the West Midlands.
We are sorry for any inconvenience that these diversions may cause you. They are all beyond our control but we are working closely with the local councils and service providers to keep disruption to our services and passengers to an absolute minimum. Thank you for your patience.

Stratford Road, between Shaftmoor Lane and Cateswell Road
Resurfacing
Services Affected : 6
Monday-Friday, 22-26 February 2010 - from 0930 until 1600 (approx) each dayBuses from City Centre: from Stratford Road buses will run via Shaftmoor Lane and Cateswell Road to Stratford Road and normal route.
Buses towards City Centre are unaffected.
Perry Beeches, Beeches Road - between Walsall Road and Thornbridge Avenue

Monday-Friday, 15-19 February 2010, from 0930 until 1600 (approx)Service 28
Buses from Scott Arms: from the terminus buses will run via Walsall Road, turning around at turning point at Old Walsall Road then running via Walsall Road, Queslett Road, Aldridge Road, Thornbridge Avenue and Hassop Road then the normal route.
Buses towards Scott Arms: from Hassop Road buses will run via Thornbridge Avenue, Aldridge Road, Queslett Road and Walsall Road to rejoin normal route.
Service 28A
Buses from One-Stop: from Walsall Road buses will run via Church Road, Aldridge Road, Thornbridge Road and Hassop Road to rejoin normal route.
Buses towards One-Stop: from Hassop Road buses will run via Thornbridge Road, Aldridge Road and Church Road to Walsall Road and the normal route.
Service 952
Buses from City Centre: from Walsall Road buses will run via Church Road, Aldridge Road and Thornbridge Road to rejoin the normal route.
Buses towards the City Centre: from Hassop Road buses will run via Thornbridge Road, Aldridge Road and Church Road to Walsall Road and the normal route.
West Bromwich, High Street and St Michael’s Street
Road works
Services Affected : 74, 428, 429
Monday, 15 February - Wednesday, 10 March 2010Buses from Carters Green to West Bromwich Bus Station will follow the normal route to the Town Hall then run via Victoria Street, Price Street and St Michael’s Street to the Bus Station.
Buses from the Bus Station will use their normal routes.

Monday, 8 February 2010 - for 8 weeks (approx.)Buses from City Centre: buses will continue along Sherlock Street then run via Belgrave Middleway to the traffic island at Haden Circus, returning along Belgrave Middleway to rejoin normal route at Longmore Street.
Buses towards City Centre: from Longmore Street buses will run along Belgrave Middleway to the traffic island then run via Sherlock Street to rejoin normal route.
Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham Road between Jockey Road and Highbridge Road

Saturday and Sunday, 13/14 and 20/21 February 2010 - from approximately 1600 on Saturday until 2000 on Sunday each weekendServices 104, 104A, 105 from Birmingham City Centre: from Sutton Road (at The Yenton) buses will run via Chester Road, Boldmere Road and Jockey Road to rejoin normal route at the Horse and Jockey.
Services 104, 104A, 105 towards Birmingham City Centre are not affected.
Hollybank Road, between Wheelers Lane and Haunch Lane

Monday-Friday, 15-19 February 2010 - between 0930 and 1600 each day (approx)This diversion is postponed until further notice.

Buses towards Kings Heath: will continue along Haunch Lane, then run via Wheelers Lane and Barn Lane to rejoin normal route.
Buses towards Yardley Wood: will run via Barn Lane, Wheelers Lane and Haunch Lane to rejoin normal route.
Service 76
Buses towards Kings Heath: will continue along Haunch Lane, then run via Howard Road East to rejoin normal route.
Buses towards Yardley Wood: from Wheelers Lane buses will run via Haunch Lane to rejoin normal route.
Blackheath Town Centre

Services Affected : 404, 404A
Wednesday, 27 January 2010 - for 30 days (approx)Buses towards West Bromwich will run via Bradford Street, Wednesbury Road and Corporation Street to rejoin the normal route. A temporary stop will be sited outside Dreamlands furniture store in Corporation Street.
Buses travelling in the opposite direction are not affected.
Eachelhurst Road, between Chester Road and Orton Avenue
Resurfacing
Services Affected : 914
Monday 10 until Wednesday 112 February 2010 (daily between 0930 and 1600 hours)Service 914 towards City will operate from Walmley Road via Penns Lane, Orphanage Road and Chester Road to Tyburn Road, then via normal line of route.
Service 914 from City remains unaffected.
Please note change of dates.
Gravelley Lane between Chester Road and Station Road
Resurfacing
Services Affected : 68A, 68C, 111
2 February 2010 - for 2 weeks (from 0930 to 1600 each day Monday to Fridays only)Services 68A and 111 towards Erdington will operate from Court Lane via Short Heath Road and Station Road to Gravelley Lane, then via normal line of route.
Service 68C from Erdington will operate from Summer Road via Short Heath Road and Court Lane, then via normal line of route.
Service 111 from Erdington will operate from Station Road via Short Heath Road, Court Lane, then via normal line of route.
This work is now scheduled for completion on Thursday, 11 February (1 day early)

Monday 26 October 2009 until further noticeService 28B towards Small Heath will operate from Coventry Road via Wordsworth Road terminating on Wordsworth Road.
Service 28B towards Great Barr will operate as above turning at Wordsworth Road/Golden Hillock Road island.
New Road, Rubery
Sewer replacement
Services Affected : 63
Starting Monday 4th January 2010 for up to 3 months.From Monday 4th January 2010 for up to 3 months, New Road, Rubery will be closed between Leach Green Lane and St Chad’s Road due to sewer replacement.
Buses towards Great Park: from Bristol Road South buses will run via Leach Green Lane, Cock Hill Lane, Deelands Road and Callowbrook Lane to rejoin the normal route.
Buses towards Longbridge: from Callowbrook Lane buses will run via Deelands Road, Cock Hill Lane and Leach Green Lane to Bristol Road South where they will rejoin the normal route.
